I sought the help of Glen with NYC Modern Home when I wanted to re-do a small problematic second bedroom: two sides were windows and a pillar; a third had the entry door with a small wall and the 4th, a long wall with 1 outlet. How could it hold a convertible sofa, a desk, lighting, a comfortable chair, and a closet and at the same time seem spacious and uncluttered? Interior Designer Glen Kinnaird came up with a clever and inventive suggestion comprised of color and built-ins that I, and lucky sleepover guests, continue to enjoy. What’s more, Mr. Kinnaird handled all the interactions with the company that made the built-ins to order and whatever else (mistakes) came up, hired and dealt with contractors. 1965 Broadway, 23H, 2 bedrooms. in 2015, we helped Veronica add furniture to all three rooms to finish off her apartment after a move to NYC from San Francisco. We specified a dining table and chairs, a new sectional sofa, a television stand, and nightstands for the master bedroom with new bed linens. Budget $28,000.
